I Believed in the sincerity of this man who came to my home, uninvited and told me HE, would personally, paint my home and repair and refinish my driveway. He showed up with his two YOUNG teenage boys and proceeded to spray paint my house, not removing screens, or even covering the windows. His one son began painting the gutters which I told him was not part of the agreement. The gutters and leaders were not power washed entirely and I found paint in the screens and on my car which was in the driveway. When it came time to do finish the driveway, he had 2 Mexican fellows do the initial part of the job...His YOUNG son topped the driveway with the sealer by spraying a very light coat, then proceeded to tell me it should have a second coat of sealer which would cost several hundred dollars Moore. I phoned Joseph McDonald immediately and he told me to listen to his son, but that he would only charge me an additional $250.00 for the material. As a female senior citizen, alone, I listened and had them complete the work AGAINST MY BETTER JUDGMENT. When I complained approx. a month later after several rainstorms that the driveway job failed, Mr. McDonald argued with me and showed up at my side door and became verbally abusive one morning before 9:00 A.M. I have had to wait for almost 6 months to have him correct and repair my driveway ...which was done very poorly, as well as be subjected to his insults and false accusations. Not the same personable, humble, understanding man I spoke to who came offering his services as a painter and driveway repair person living in Emerson and had been operating a successful business for years. He doesn't answer telephone messages and is not a truthful individual.

I cannot find any reason to recommend him or his company. I
Spent far too much money on the shabby jobs he did and had too much aggravation trying to get him to live up to his promises.
