Answered an ad in Craigslist regarding a Macbook Air for $300. Seller gave us all necessary details and photos, then said she had moved to Calgary, Canada, but had found a company called CollectPlus to help with transaction. When we checked the website, it all looked legit. So we moved forward with sending the money, and even received an email from CollectPlus with shipping info. The item never arrived, and with a little more searching, we now realize this was a scam. I hope that someone else will do a little more investigating before using CollectPlus, and perhaps stumble upon all these reports regarding this scam.
