Posted an iPod on Craigslist for $350 (clearly marked). He emailed me asking me how much I wanted for it. I responded again with $350. He emailed me back:
"OK..am purchasing this for a lovely friend of mine and i hope this is still working perfectly?,i will be offering you 400bucks plus the shipping fee via USPS express mail,and do you have a PayPal email to transfer the money to you?"
It was a red flag that he was offering $50 over asking. A phone number was listed so I googled it to see if it was a person or a business. It showed up in Google as a telemarketer number. I googled his name not expecting to find anything and found his scambook complaints. I told him no deal.
