I booked a hotel and then saw the same hotel on hotels.com for less. I contacted priceline and gave them the website I was looking at and they said the couldn't see the room rate I was seeing. I offered to send the link, they said the didn't have that capability (really). I booked the other sites deal and canceled my reservation with Priceline. They kept telling me they could only honor the guarantee if the reservation was available for booking by them. I don't know what they were looking at but I was able to book the room at the rate the lower rate which the could't see. I just want my cancellation fee refunded since the price should have been guaranteed.
