Got an email from a Brian Newman saying I was approved for $5000...All I had to do was send them $800 dollars I did by western union to a Matthew Cunningham in Canada...My sister did the same thing sent them $800 dollars to a Roger Cunningham...We never did get the loan and we asked for our money back and now we are getting the run around...I still have all the docs he sent me and the western union receipts...Trying to get our money back .

- This is almost the same thing that happened to me but I didn't western union them the $800 that they asked for. I am so sorry that they got you.

- Once you send the money to Canada there is really nothing that can be done. The lady at western union heard me on the phone talking to the guy who told me to send the money to someone in Canada and she said she didn't feel comfortable doing that and once it left it was gone. I then questioned it and felt so dumb to have almost fell for that. I then came online and posted things to help others and make sure you also report them.
