Joe McArthy.. sent my 86 year old Mom a shipwreck coin without her permission., Then he wanted 1200 dollars. He used her routing number and took 900 dollars out of her checking account. She sent the coin back.. and now he has the coin and her 900 dollars. I have phoned him about ten times. He assures me he has mailed her check to her. No check so far. He stated he had received the coin. Mom is so upset that she can not sleep and I am afraid she is going to have a stroke. He broke her heart. She keeps saying that she thought he was such a nice man. I plan to report this to the authorities on Monday.
Update: 12/06/2013
Joe Mcarthys office contacted my Mom by phone last week and stated they would return the money by mail.. so far still no money has been returned.. Mom is still very upset and losing sleep about this mistake.
