Was doing a random survey online then all of a sudden, a page opened offering me an ipod for US$4. So, naturally I jumped at the chance. That was my mistake. I had to submit my credit card details first even before my name and address details. So, stupidly I did. Then I get an email confirming the payment but asking for identification documents, copy of signature, etc. Was not comfortable with that due to identity/scam reasons. Next minute I find that due to my purchase, it seems I was actually bidding for the ipod on Wippy.com. I was unaware I was bidding and thought I was just making a straight purchase. And as a result of the "bidding", I was automatically assigned a Wippy Gold membership which meant I had to pay the first months membership fee REGARDLESS! This Wippy.com are a bunch of rip-off artists duping unsuspecting people into first month memberships. Well, I'll get over losing $6 and this has certainly been a lesson for me. Take my advice, don't dare go there and be very aware.
