I placed an order with Shirley for some IPHONE 5S after verifying that the company was registered with a Ms Penny Zhang through Alibaba.com. I emailed Shirley back as to who Yuling Xu was who was their Western Union receiver for payment. She said that was the person who accepted payments and Ms Penny Zhang was a member of the company while Shirley is the manager there.

After successful payment, I was expecting a DHL Tracking number as I only placed the order since they promised a 2-5 day turn shipment for the drives. She then emailed me after 2 days and provided a China Post shipping number and informed me that it would take 15 days to receive the equipment. I informed her that I did not pay for good to receive the good that late as they were for a customer of mine.

I emailed her to request for them to re-send the drives via a DHL shipment and I would be happy to reject the previous order should it arrive. She has not responded and has not offered any remediation.

After reading the complaints by other members on Scambook, now I believe that this company may also be a false company who take the identity of similarly named companies and act as if they work for the same registered gold suppliers on Alibaba.

I have even opened up a case on Alibaba.com to get to the bottom of this to see if these people are genuine or fake.

I did not even come across this company through any other manner until I used Alibaba but looking at the company address, it doesn't seem to match up to the one that is registered with Alibaba. So question is, is this another site within the same company or is this a case of identity theft?

I hope my situation can be resolved by Scambook and I have my money returned to me.

Update: 12/03/2013

I have tried to contact this [email protected] a few times requesting for a refund or a true tracking number. No responses including on Skype have come through. I hope you catch these fraudsters Scambook!
