I have been scammed by magazine services since June 2012. They began sending me magazines and then a bill stating my balance was over due. Whenever I called the companies they said I had 20+ months on the agreement and I couldn't cancel out. Each new company that called me already had my debit card information. Each month I would get charged by 1 or 2 companies (4 had my information). When I got a call from Central Periodical Services I knew I needed to stop the madness. They wanted to charge me $59.90 a month for magazines I never signed up for. I cancelled my debit card and have received 2 calls from this company stating my bill is overdue. On the phone and in a written letter I told them I did not want the service and they need to stop contacting me. I firmly believe these companies just pass your credit information around to each other. They won't be getting any more of my money. The other companies are Coastal Readers Service, Consumer Magazine Center, National Magazines (or National Magazine Service), and Treasure Coast Readers.
