The lady got me on the phone and did so much double talk that I stupidly gave her my credit card number after she had talked about magazines. She then started in on trying to sell me something else and I asked her to forget the whole thing and hung up. On Nov. 25 there appeared a $69.69 charge on my Visa.
I did not agree to buy any magazines, most of the ones she mentioned I already subscribe to anyhow. They always call at the worst times when you are in the middle of something and catch you off guard. Companies like this should not be allowed to practice in this manner of "tricking" customers.
