I noticed I had a pending transaction from my bank (checking acct) in the amount of $99.99 from Smintcare.com and I never made any such purchase!!! I have no idea how they obtained my bank credit card information nor do I have any idea what company this is. My bank said they could not stop the transaction as it has already been approved. I have to wait for it to clear and then file a fraudulent claim to see if I could be reimbursed the money in 10 days. At first they said I could try to call the company to see what happened. I called the number provided..several times.. and never once I was able to reach a live person. The website and phone number appear to be a scam!!! I read that this has happened to other people for the same amount on the same day! ! I had to cancel my debit/credit card and have to wait 10 days for a new card in the mail while the bank froze my account so no further transactions could take place. So now I have to wait to use my own money!! Be aware of this scam!!
