I signed up for the cytotrim and pure colon cleanser trial on line via an attractive advert flashing with backing from a Channel 4 person trialling the products. I thought, great. I'll give if a go.

According to my bank account it was on 11.11.13 and the shipment money came out for the two products each on 14.11.13.

The followings were been unacceptable:

1; I received 1 package via TNT a week after I placed.

I was charged two shipment fees although both bottles were put in one pack.
How can a product be on a 14-day trial if one does not even get delivered for a week it halving the trial period?

2; I read reviews regarding the service on the internet in the meantime and they were appalling especially highlighting the difficulty of cancelling the trial period so many people had been charged. I wanted no part in this kind of service so decided to cancel immediately. I did not even open either of the bottles when they arrived.

I tried to call numerous time within the week I was left to cancel the order I called first thing in the morning during the week, later in the day as well as the weekend. I kept getting a constant busy tone or the number would not work. I was trying to get the return merchandise authorisation number to send back to the two unopened bottles as I changed my mind. No luck

I even tried to contact the company via email by going on the website where I wrote asking for the return . This was all within the 14-day trial. I have phone records to prove.
On the website however there was no obvious email only a window to put in your comments . Needless to say there was no reply.

Then I had no option but to contact my bank before the two weeks was up to help.Despite all my efforts £69.97 was taken twice from my account on 28.11.13. I did not even break the seal on the product and I do not even intend to touch it.

I was able to get in touch via the phone only on 14/12.13(yesterday). By then it was too late of course.

How can a company offer a service then promise to live up to something then forces the customers hand to the point that regardless what the customer decides the money is taken without agreement.

This is unacceptable and horrendous way of treating people.

I was offered 50% refund as a goodwill gesture and I was promised in the next 7-30 day( and I expect that to be processed as soon as possible) , I find this time period of refund appalling too .

I work in customer service , and I know it takes maximum a week to receive a refund provided it is done on the day the complaint logged. Any more than that is appalling and just holding onto the money that does not belong.

I do not accept this and I said over the phone as well as in email that I was expecting 100% refund. I wanted to cancel the product but cytotrim blocked way of contact during the 14-day trial so I would be charged over £140 . Still fighting it.

DO NOT SIGn UP IT IS A SCAM.
