I entered credit card information as required prior to placing a participating in an on-line auction. The site appeared legitimate, and requested a credit card to complete registration. In the terms of agreement it did not say ANYWHERE that a charge would be made to the credit card provided without my authorization. I became suspicious when there was limited information on the company, and no telephone number. I searched an found that people have been scammed out of $99.00. By the time I checked my credit card transactions it was too late. The charge had been approved. Now I must wait until the charge is posted and then go through the process of disputing a charge with my credit card.
