When on John Lewis web site an offer of a choice of one of three free gifts appeared for the cost of £1.99 p&p,assuming I was dealing with a trusted retailer I filled out my card details. I received the gift (pro lift serum) in November it was only when another arrived in December and checked my card statement I realized £1.99,£84 & £89 had been taken within a four week period. They refused reimbursement and stated it was a trial and not a gift.I was never informed the free gift was a trial until I contacted them to cancel and complain.
