I applied for a work from home position on Craigslist for Amana Group. I was contaced by a supposed woman with the name of Suzenie Ann via text message. She had me install Yahoo instant messenger to be used as our primary form of contact. A few days later I received a bogus Check in the mail made out to me for almost $3,000 with the simple instructions for me to purchase supplies but did not list any specifics. I did not feel comfortable with this and I did not cash the check but instead shredded it.

I hope by posting this is will help prevent and potential victims in the future.
