Keith Howard from E-Biz-Services LLC called me on 08-12-2013. He said that they were a branch of BBS Merchant Group. He offered me a work at home business opportunity being a merchant agent.
For each business lead I sent them I would earn a commission of $500 for each credit card terminal bought and 1% of credit card/debit card sales for the month.I paid them $395 to get licensed that they would process but never presented any documentation.
On 08/19/2013 Chris Johnson called telling me that if I purchased leads through them there agents would convert the leads and jump start the income that I could make. After much reluctance he convinced me to purchase 5500 leads at $10 a lead and charge them to three different credit cards.
He said the industry is highly regulated and that they needed to have at least a 3% conversion rate to keep their good standing with the banks. At 3% conversion rate would be 165 companies, I would make a $27,500 profit and average $53 per month for each business for a monthly income of $8745. He claimed the company had exclusive rights to Chase Bank and HSBC Bank.
I told him that I would not be able to make the payments on the cards, he said don’t worry they will be paid off in 90 days then he would call me on day 91 so I could thank him and ask to buy more leads. I still expressed my concerns so Brooke White general manager called to assure me everything would be fine and that if I was not happy then she would rather give my investment back than get have a mark against the company.
I received a Media Package that included a website with a traffic campaign, you tube video, and social network pages. All My leads were put into a back office on my website. I did received cd's with the 5500 leads listed on them. I received that but the traffic campaign isn't producing as promised and I have not seen any leads in my back office generated from the site.
I was assigned a campaign manager Abby Morgan to call me each week to give updates that when I was informed that it would take much longer to convert the leads or I may not make any money back. On one of those calls I asked Abby what protects the agents from the company not passing on the commissions and she replied the honor system.
I do not know if the company did convert any leads and kept the commissions, they do not supply any documentation. On 10-30-2013 I received an Email that I would be called by accounting which I did telling me I had money coming. I hadn't received any checks so on 11-15-2013 I wrote an Email and sent a certified letter to Brooke White stating the fraudulent statements made by Chris Johnson requesting a refund. I received three checks dated 11-10-2013 totaling $880 on 11-18-2013 by Fed Ex Rush delivery.
I was offered a $20,000 refund on 11-27-1960 and I keep the leads. I finally was credited $5000 to one of my cards but not the other $15,000. On 12-13-2013 my campaign manager did not call at our scheduled time and I can no longer get a hold of her. I have yet to receive the refund after numerous reminders and none of the leads made any money. The phone calls will no longer go through and I get no replies from emails or text messages to Brooke White. I cannot get the money back from E-Biz. I have found many complaints just like mine on line and it’s time for this to stop. I would like to recover the $55395 but don't seem to have much chance. I have found the same company goes by Top Choice Merchants,BBS Merchant Group, or BBS Group out of Las Vegas.
