I completed a transaction on another website. A popup screen advised me that I had won a prize giving me the choice of 3 items. One of these was a health supplement sample pack for which I would have to pay the postage of $2.95. I completed my CC details for the $2.95 but find that my CC has been debited (A)$178.37 + (A)$5.35 overseas transaction charge. I rang the customer support and was advised that by clicking on "continue" on the screen I was buying 3 months supply of the product. I could not cancel the order as it had "already been shipped" and I could not return the product if it is past 14 days from the date of order. To date I have not received the product so by the time I do it will be past that time. I do not believe that the website stated that by clicking on "continue" I was buying 3 months supply. I was offered a further 2 months supply at no extra cost for my "inconvenience". I requested to talk to a supervisor. One wasn't available as they were in a meeting. I left my number for someone to call me. Of course this has not happened. I believe that this company is a total ripoff and would like to warn people about it.
