I recently registered to use this auction site but was mislead by the way the site is set up and its terms of service agreement which in my view deliberately hides how it will charge your credit card. To register one must enter card details, and a page clearly states they will not charge your card without your permission. However by simply clicking on "bid" (I thought I would get to enter an amount I wanted to bid) you have inadvertently allowed them to charge your card. I did not consider this as giving authorization to charge my card (NZ$350). At no time did the site present a window that informed me I was about to be charged, it did not tell me how much I was being charged, I have never received an e-mail notice to tell me I had been charged and finally they have never responded to my e-mails trying to challenge the charge. I have lodge a dispute with my bank.

In addition the site is misleading because the price of the items they are selling are not real dollar values, this is because it is a pay to bid site, each bid has cost someone between 20 cents and $1.20, so displaying the value of the item as 6 or 7 dollars (in the case of an iphone) is completely misleading.

It is noteworthy that the site itself argues it is not a scam site, why do they need to do that I wonder?
