We purchased 4 weeks vacation and access to a vacation club for $22,000, with the promise that when we didn't use our four weeks, it would be rented out and we would receive the rent each year for four years. Plus they would list and resale our current timeshare to offset the costs of this club. The access was to be for Interval International and Platinum Access Program and had a toll-free number that has since been disconnected. We never got to use the service and had tried to cancel it the next day, but were denied by the bank in Delaware, since there seemed to be a legitimate contract. The bank, we were told, owned the Grand Miramar and said they would put a lien against our house if we didn't pay the $22,000. This was a total scam.
