our appointmenT was on 12/19/13 at 12:30 pm. as we approached the building a man started talking with us. he was not impressionable (dress wise) . made small talk, and he brought us into this room. Small talk continued, every now and then he used curse words in his conversation, after three or four times my husband told him to watch his mouth and respect my wife, we do not appreciate cursing, he said sorry after each one and said. 'I said sorry.'
He got rude and told us we were being rude to him. He said I have an hour and a half talk for you to listen. After his vocabulary includes cursing we were not interested in him giving a talk. Not only did they say all we had to do is come by for the appointment time receive our gifts and we could be on our way. LIE LIE
With that we told him to give us our gifts for attending. With the rudeness and cursing we of course was not interested at all. We were totally embarassed. He shoved the envelope on the table and said to leave he was through. We told him he was the one that was off course with his self and we did not appreciate his attitude. PLUS they lied on the inset of the phone call by (Maggie). When I talked with her on the phone I said what is the catch for the gifts she told us we would receive. She stated nothing, just come in for your appointment we will give you tickets for the Golf Cart drawing (you see they said I was a finalist for a golf Cart) and a $50 gift certificate for Camping World, and a certificate to eat at Hard Rock Hotel. I* told her no catches we would come in and receive our prizes you are stating and we could leave. She said definitely.
They are not true to their word. They wanted us to sit down with this rude man for 1 and 1/2 hrs. for him to try and get us to buy into their (resort) which they were suppose to ride us around. I told him are you going to give us a tour (nothing to see) he told us to go ride around ourselves. Of course we did not ride around we just wanted to see what this rude man would say.
We know Coast to Coast is well known but how they can put their name on this place is beyond us. I say monetary damage was our gas money we spent to and from this terrible ordeal. THE BIG DEAL I BET AFTER WE LEFT HE PROBABLY WENT TO THE BOX WHERE HE PLACED OUR TICKETS FOR THE GOLF CART AND REMOVED THEM. THE PICTURES THEY SAID OF OTHER COUPLES OTHER TIMES WHO WON A GOLF CART, THE CARTS LOOKED OLD. SO I DOUBT THEY WERE TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT ANY OF THEIR PROMISES.
WE WON'T BE ANONOMOUS WE WILL SIGN OUR NAMES TO THIS COMPLAINT AND CHAULT THIS EXPERIENCE AS A BAD ONE.
LIKE WE SAID IN THE BEGINNING THIS MAN WAS A POOR REPRESENTATIVE OF COAST TO COAST.
