Signed up on LiveCareer to build a resume & agreed to pay the nearly $3 charge to build the resume. However on the 14th of Dec my credit card was charged $43.69 for a subscription I NEVER agreed to. While checking my credit card statement today (Dec 29th) I found the charge & called LiveCareer. They told me that an email was sent to my account saying that if I did not cancel my subscription within 14 days my credit card would automatically be charged. However I did not EVER receive any email stating this. When I called to cancel my subscription the customer service rep made it very clear it was my fault because I did not cancel the subscription within the 14 days. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the whole experience & LiveCareer's business tactics.
