The exact same thing happened to me with a company Loanstar.
Was getting no response worth having from e-mails or phone so ended up sending them the below-
In reference to the previous calls and e-mails, I have just come off the phone with the OFT as you are not FSA registered. It appears that the number you gave me was the business registration and you do appear to be a genuine company with a valid consumer credit license 63877. As you know I have received the refund letter which I will be posting today. I would highlight that despite what you have said there is no impediment to the refund being made immediately and would request that you do so. I would also point out that should this not happen I will be making my contact with the Office of Fair Trading official, which can have ramifications in respect of your consumer credit license.
This seemed to work and they refunded the same day, it might be worth you getting info on them and trying a similar approach.
