I recieved a phone call from a Shane Watson claiming to be a legal assistant. He claimed I had taken out a loan and then closed my account and the creditor was sueing me for check fraud and theft. I had previously had some payday lenders that were outstanding so I assumed this was from one of them. I asked how I could resolve the matter and he said I could western union or money gram the funds to them which was the first red flag. I then got off the line with him to contact my payday lenders and of them said the same thing that it wad a scam call since my file was still with them. I called this Shane Watson back and he yelled at me and said I would be arrested tomorrow. After I found these complaints I felt a little bit better. All my instincts told me this was a scam! He also told me he would only release information or my affidavit to my lawyer. Some people are just idiots and its unfortunate that people in need fall prey to jerks like this. Beware!!
