We thought we were making our reservations directly with the Hampton Inn at the time we were reserving our rooms. Both the Reservation-Desk website and Reservation Desk phone receptionist were deceiving. I specifically asked the person on the phone if I was speaking directly with the hotel and they said "yes." This was not true. The Hampton Inn was equally unhelpful and unsympathetic, in fact, they seemed to support the website and referred us back to them. When we called Reservation-Desk.com to complain they hung up on us first after a 15 minute wait. We called back and they became very argumentative and tried to refer us back to the hotel. A giant run around by both companies. Very disappointing.
