Letter I tried to email to PeopleSmart:

I became a member of PeopleSmart on Sept. 26, 2013 to search for info about the family of my recent partner. I hadn't met them yet. He was killed in a car accident earlier in Sept.
Later, I canceled. I believed it was from the whole website, which includes the main site and the site I could only reach through it, at the end of October, 2013 or perhaps early Nov. 2013.
Then my middle son died tragically in Nov., and I am next of kin and was overwhelmed for weeks. Then, in Dec., I caught a virus, through the holidays, that kept me sick for more weeks. I just caught up with the last 3 months of my financial records.
I discovered that there have been 2 charges of $19.95 put on my Visa each month--Oct.3, 2013. Nov. 3, 2013, Dec. 3, 2013, Jan. 3, 2014. I think I understand the Oct. charges. I do not understand all the other charges, since I canceled. Obviously, PeopleSmart still has me as a member, since my old password got me in.

I. I believed that I canceled from it all, PeopleSmart and Identity Smart. If you only canceled me from IdentitySmart, there would be just 1 charge of $19.95 for PeopleSmart each month, on my Visa.
2. Since I believed that canceling meant the whole program, I would like all the double charges taken off my Visa, for the canceled months--a total of $119.70.
3. Since I couldn't connect with you, without finding a way to see if I could still sign in, I do not care to pay for a another whole month, just because you didn't cancel when I asked.
4. Make sure you have canceled my membership form everything as part of resolving this issue.
5. I canceled because I didn't learn anything that I didn't already know. In fact, I knew more than your research found. And now I have met his family, at his memorial.
I appreciate your looking into this matter, so we can reach a resolution.
