I have to take the time to warn others about Mills & Mills Law Firm in Las Vegas, NV. The Mill’s brothers have used their father’s name to build their prestigious law firm with an abundance of clients. However, I can tell you first hand, their practice and tactics are not what they appear. In fact, their law offices are not even their own. That fancy lobby is nothing more than an illusion for it is SHARED executive office space. The front staff handle all of the attorneys on that floor, all separate practices sharing space. But more importantly, it’s what they do to their clients which is of grave concern.
Having worked there for four months, I was shocked at what I witnessed and was asked to participate in.

First, they charge exorbitant upfront fees, knowing full well they will be asking for quite a bit more once you as a client are represented. Say the fees is $7000, of which you put down 2500-3500 as a retainer with the balance due when the case is final. What they don’t tell you is they will be asking for anywhere from $3000 to $5000 or more, once the case is started. That is in addition to the original commitment of $7000. They will tell you the money is needed for various unexpected legal maneuvers which are imperative in order for them to proceed. Then they will charge you for all court documents and bill you hourly for anything to do with your case or any phone calls made to you or on your behalf. THIS IS ALL IN ADDITION TO THE ORIGINAL FEE. The two hour lunches at the finest restaurants? Courtesy of your money since your name was mentioned. Many of those lunches I was forced to attend or felt in jeopardy of losing my job. I was always being harassed by the fat brother who kept insisting he needed my presence and wanted me to work late alone with him. He is a disgusting, red faced hog, I don’t know when he focuses on law, since his only concern is food, drinking and women. But in all fairness, it’s primarily food which prevents him from being properly prepared for his cases. His brother, Byron, always has to double check his work and hover around him which became increasingly unbearable to have that parrot looking man quiz me on his own brother.

I silently watched for months, as client after client would give the Mill’s brothers large sums of money with the assurance that the clients would have their fees returned to them by the opposing side all of which was an outright lie. In addition to telling clients they would recoup monies spent, they also told them they had Family Court locked up due to their close relationship with a few JUDGES.

It became so appalling to watch their continued reprehensible conduct, I gave notice, without another job lined up in a bad economy – it was that tolerable.BEWARE!!!
