I was calling Blue Cross Blue Shield with a number they listed on a paper mailed to me. I think they listed the number incorrectly (as opposed to someone doing it deliberately)and got a recording that said I had won something. It went to a guy and I immediately asked if I had called Blue Cross and he said yes and that they were a department rewarding certain customers...yadda yadda yadda. I'm an idiot and believed the tripe and gave them my credit card number. When they kept asking me for verification I finally just hung up and called a different number for Blue Cross and told them what happened. I called my credit card company and already had a charge I didn't recognize. When I was on the phone, I asked who they were and they told me they were working with funvantage and said they would charge me $1 and it would be called entertainment club on my statement. Now I have an $18.11 charge from TACALA AUSTIN CORP. I canceled the card immediately and feel like an idiot.
