I sent an email inquiry via kittensforadoption.co.uk regarding some Devon Rex kittens that were advertised as located in South Yorkshire and free for adoption; I did think it sounded to good to true, but the site appeared genuine. The 'cat owner' responded stating they were a retired veterinarian and stipulating that the kittens will only be placed in a good home. I had emailed back and they responded asking for money to ship the kittens to me from the Isle of Man. I said I would not consider purchasing a pet that I had not seen,and it was at this point I realised it may be a scam. Since then I have received a further email suggesting I go over to the Isle of Man, to which I am not responding, however I am concerned because they now have my name and the area I live!
