Knocked o my door and told me he and his crew were doing work in the community. He saw I had a stump from a tree tat had fallen in a storm and offered to take it out for $150. He said that he would include trimming several trees in my backyard and side of the house for an extra $25. I tried to tell him I wanted t wait for my husband but he said that he is from PA and would be leaving. I had been wanting that stump removed so I paid him by check - even though he asked for cash. Well, he trimmed the stump down another few inches (NOT REMOVED!!), cut down another tree and trimmed some of the trees but not the one that we spoke about hanging over my deck and dripping sap. They left everything all over - no cleaning, and that check was cashed at my back within the hour. I tried to stop payment but it was too late. He endorsed the check with a scribble of his name and no other information was obtained by the bank (Citizens).
