Bad business practice of sending a letter that looks official, with a deadline to register or else be deleted from the company registry. No mention about a fee. Then a letter demanding $490.
I have sent email to this company and asking to be removed from this registry. But they demand the fee within 8 days. See latest communication below:

Your company has accepted the terms and the considered costs for the services, which you have accepted. Once your company has agreed to the terms and conditions (which is not to be mistaken to the terms of use, general public / visitors are obliged under), you would have noted that you have to pay the annual fee of S$490.00 inclusive of 7% GST under Clause 4 Purchase of Credits, payment and annual fee which states that upon your registration and acceptance of the terms and conditions, the first annual fee shall be due and the Service Provider shall send the bill for the first annual fee to the Partner as per Clause 2 (any business entity who makes use of the services provided by Service Provider on the basis of the Contract Terms and Conditions).

The terms and conditions (you may find the terms and conditions once you logged in to your account, or http://companyregister.sg/terms-and-conditions) indicate the fees due and payable. It is indicated on the invoice, when you have subscribed to our web portal services, you would have known the fees payable as per our invoice. You shall be bound to settle the payment within 8 days from invoice date.
