He said he was a faithfull christian man, lost his wife with cancer 4 yrs ago, has 1 daughter 13 yrs Stefanie and a son 16yrs Dallas. He wanted me to only talk to him and said he was removing himself from the site after seeing me on there. He quickly started sending me romantic emails and always with a beautifull bible text. Wanted to know everything about me as he was serious about me wanting a Godly wife and mother for his children. Soon He wanted to chat on Yahoo Messenger I asked to speak to him on video but he made excuses about working on the Mexican Rig no access. He said he lived in Little Rock Arkansis and he has a sister called Susan who is a missionary in Thailand and she looks after his children while he works away for 6 weeks at a time on the Rig.The emails became very intense about marriage and wanting me to concider moving to the US to be his wife and he will support me with my new business which I told him about my shop in the UK. He called me one day to say he wants to tell me about his job as a oil Driller in Mexico and that he put his house up on loan to take this contract on the oil Rig and that he was leaving in an hour so can I please be on messenger freqently to talk to him as it is very lonely and isolated being away for such a long time from home. Then one day he called me from the Mexican Rig to say he has huge problems with the Drill bit not doing the job and he started to cry, saying he cant loose this contract and he asked his sister Susan for money to help him with this drill part will cost £7000 but she only has half of the money, can I help him with the rest of the money and he will pay me back as soon as he finish the job will pay him a million US dollars. I said no I cant help because I have my new business which I used all my money on. He called me during the night sometimes begging and crying to help him because he will lose his home and not get his children home for christmas. I was ill every time he called me begging me for financial help. Then he would seal it with a romantic and godly email about true love and calling me his wife and soul mate. Eventually I asked him to send a copy of his passport, also to ask his sister to call me from Thailand to find out if he is real and he said please dont tell my siter about asking you for money because he would be embarrassed. I said no I will ask her if he is who he says he is and if she knew about me in the UK. She rang me but did not answer my questions where he worked, but said he talks about me all the time and he has 2 children, When I asked her some questions about him she said you asking alot of questions and I should believe her brother because he loves me alot.I was ill for days after he kept on and on about me helping him crying on the phone. I send him £3800 to some foreign woman who was the director but had died but the company was still in her name. I was very worried about sending this money for the parts he needed to this woman but he said no he cant have me send the money to his bank account because he is over drawn on his account. Then the calls stopped only heard from him now and again at short interupted calls from the Rig from a mobile number 07024082412. another no he gave was 0019166049134. I had some promises made how much he loved me sending me kisses on the phone and he will come to the UK to visit and pay me the money back before christmas. A week went by when I had another call from him crying there was a explotion on the rig he sent me a photo with his leg in a frame fractured crying about the other two workers who was very badly injured saying the company wants to sue him now and he just kept crying every time we spoke then he said he was very depressed and did not know what was going to happen to him now, He called me again during the night crying pleading for me to help him get some drill fluid which would cost £5000 because he cant get a loan from the bank and cried he wont see his children for christmas and me if he doesnt finish the job on the Mexican Rig. He said his siter was sending the other half of the money he needed and he would send a copy of her receipt paid to this Diamond bank in London Via Diamond bank in Nigeria name Voke Davidson then the money would be transfer to a shop on the Rig that would give him the drill fluid once the money was transfered which was urgent because he has a week to finish the job before he can get paid to come to me in UK and pay me back. I never saw him over christmas because the well he worked on was badly damage by him so now he was still having to face the panel in Mexico. On the Fri the 3rd Jan He asked me if I would come to see him in Sacramento on the monday the 6th of Jan, By this time I knew there was something going on with this man that things did not add up and making promise after promise which never materialised.I told him I would book my ticket to fly out on the tues the 7th Jan. I did not hear from him all weekend to find out what time I was arriving so he could fetch me from Sacramento airport. I rang him on his mob on sunday eve on the 5th and he pretended he could not hear what I was saying to him I shouted on the saying I have booked my ticket for tues the 7th Jan arriving at 10pm at Sacramento airport. He said call you back only called me on the monday evening at 9pm to say dont come now because he has been called to the Rig in mexico to fix mess he made on the well. I said no I am still coming he begged me not to come he wont be able to spend time with me. I said I am going to book into hotel and he can see me the next day which he half heartedly agreed to. I waited for his call while I was in the hotel his mobile number was switched off or blocked from in coming calls. I had a call from him the next morning saying he cant leave the rig untill he fixes the problems and that he was going to see if he could see me in the hotel to take me to stay at his house on the wednesday the 8th Jan, I waited all day in the hotel in Sacramento he did not come. I thought to mention it to the Hotel manager at Homewood Suites in Sacramento about George Robinson and that I met him on Christian Mingle he said it sounds like I have been conned happening to alot of people especially on christian web sites in America. He said people uses other peoples profiles and put it on face book. I looked on facebook and spotted his pictures with his children he sent me it says he was from Sacramento California but lives in Oslo now. Susan I assumed was his sister with no pictures of her on face book but no communication with any one some pictures on there looked similar to him sitting in a car, with one male friend. I called the police from the hotel in Sacramento to check on the address he gave me in Cobble shores Sacramento. But they said they went to the house and a women answered the door saying George Robinson does not live there it is her house no persons by that name there. I knew then I was conned by this man I felt ill all alone far away from home in Sacaramento California. I then listened to a message he sent that morning on the hotel answer phone. I recorded it on my mobile phone to play back. He said sorry my love the authorities on the mexican oil rig wont let him leave untill he fixes the mess he made on the oil Well and they threaten to arrest him if he leaves and he doesnt know what is going to happen to him now. Thats when I realised that was his next plan to get me to send him more money to bail him out of jail. But by now I found out about all these scams going on all over America the police said thats what happens all the time. I thought going on the Christian Mingle dating site would be safe and secure meeting some good christian men. I still get emails from him now saying he hasnt got paid yet for the job, and I must send my bank details to him to give to the director of the company to pay me. He never had intentions to meet me, If I did not go out there to find the truth about him I would still be paying him money to save him from losing his house and going to jail. I believe the woman Susan must be a girlfriend doing this with him and I dont think his real name is George Robinson first he used a black mans profile george Robinson from Little Rock In Arkansis on face book then it changed to, George Robinson from Cobble stones Sacramento, now living in Oslo. He must be still doing this to other christian women taking their money telling them about his devistating life issues which are all lies to get them to give him huge sums of money which is paid into other peoples banking acounts working with him from america and Nigeria.My name is marion Miche, email Address [email protected].
