just received my bank statement and it has 10 applied charges from chkmate which i never did apply for. if i was disappointed with the $1.00 charge why would i want to spend $296.30 for additional info. i will report this info to the better business bureau. i shall also file a dispute claim via my bank against checkmate. the only amount i used on my credit card was the $1.00 transaction, not for the $296.30 charges. i do think elderly people should be able to file criminal charges against these companies that target non Englisg speaking and special eldery people.
