We attended a promotion from Netrate Concepts, a purported travel discounter located on Cape Cod that actually seems to have an office in Scottsdale, Arizona, with no phone number, a recently listed website with no physical location, etc., etc., etc. We did not sign up for the $5,000 - $8,000 travel package, and instead got the Orbital Promotions airline tickets, which of course gets Netrate off the hook and sends us to a second scammer. Nice going! Guess what: we were even promised hors d'oeuvres, and there was nothing for a 100-minute presentation followed by a 20-minute sales pitch. I'll never go to Hollywood Slots in Bangor again, that's for sure -- not if this is the kind of outfit they rent their rooms to.
