39.99 pounds was taken from my account: I had never heard of the company and certainly did not authorise the payment. Have now been trying to get the 39.99 refunded. Every time they say the money will be refunded to your account within 1-5 days - never happens. I now intend to complain to the Financial Ombudsman, as Loan Zoo is clearly treading a fine line between legality and illegality. My advice would be to never use the company - they are a bunch of cowboys.
