I received my phone bill today. I had total charges of $196.00 from a number I had never seen before. I proceeded to call my phone provider and they informed me this was the quiz hour..never heard of this until today but nothing the phone company can do. They gave me a phone number for this "company" which is clearly some sort of scam. I called them to which they refuse to do anything about these mysterious charges on my phone. Their respond was you obviously left your phone unattended and someone clearly over 18 who was watching the show called us 196 times...are you kidding me. Everyone in my house is asleep at this time. This is so frustrating and ridiculous. I checked my call history on my cell phone...this number is not on there. Yet the charges are on my phone bill and the lovely folks from this scam refuse to do anything and have told me all they can do is block my phone number...I guess the bonus is this can't happen again...but how did it happen in the first place? How can I be charged this kind of money for something I have never heard of. On their websites it clearly states the person calling has to be the owner of the phone...well that's me and I did not make this calls...help please!
