I was messaging on FLIPKEY with this Imanni Plummer person.
We agreed on a price, but the paypal invoice, read Mardi Gras resorts, but the name of the place is POINT VILLAGE. He also wrote on the invoice> SEA GRAPE - JUNE 2-9-
If I sent the deposit in, I would be turned away at POINT VILLAGE and sent to SEA GRAPE. NO where on the invoice were the words Point Village, Negril Jamaica. There was no studio # and I had to ask what floor it was on.
So, I called him and left a voice message. He never called me back so I am happy I did not send him a penny. He was going to keep it and rip me off.
FLIPKEY needs to kick people like this off their site IF they want any good reputation.
Rule are there for both renter and rentee. It seems they all want us to mail a personal check or use Western Union so they save in fees, while not caring we pay them.
At the bottom of this invoice (that I still have) it says "balance to be paid in cash"....and we just went through him not wanting cash.
This is stupid and they need to be held accountable. This is fraud and it IS a SCAM.
