Seated online for a payday loan and got one directly from paydayuk.com of £150, went to buy some food with it and card declined, checked online banking and loanzoo had taken £44.99 and a company called loansdirect £69.99. Called my bank, was told they couldn't do anything until the payments had gone through (they were pending) called bank up again two days later, made a dispute and the funds were refunded by my bank the next day as clearly fraudulent transactions. Contacted both companies prior to conacting the ban but both were incredibly unhelpful, claiming it would take 30 days to get the money back, sent forms that need filling in and sending back but you cannot edit them on pc or phone, have to print them off and send to a probable fictitious address. Both companies are scammers but if they have taken your money without consent, call bank, raise a dispute and make it clear to them you expect a refund and make sure you ask them to block these companies and to monitor your account so that no further money gets stolen. The more people who report these companies to the banks, the more issues they will have on there database and it will be easier fOr people to get there money back
