After talking to a so called representative over the phone, that had no caller ID. I was interested in what I thought was a legitimate company helping people find grant money. I agreed to the $3.87 charge to receive aplication detail via email. The next day I saw that not only did they charge the $3.87 they also charged a fee of $19.95 to my account which was by no means authorized. I am on a tight budget do to being on workers comp. I immediately contacted my bank and had to close that debit card to keep them from taking anything else that would of made my rent Check bounce. I finally found a number to call them and spoke with a young man and asked that i immediately be removed from this scam. He told me that i would be and that both charges would be returned. The $3.87 one did reappear in my account a couple days later. but the $19.95 has yet to have been returned. Not to mention i now have to pay 15$ to get a new debit card made.
