I found a chalet to rent through airbnb. Unfortunately as a first time user I did not know how to use the site and ended up communicating with the host outsife the website's secure email system. After several emails about the chalet I got a booking reservation from what looked like airbnb but it was a hoax. This was shortly followed by an invoice that also looked like it was from airbnb.
I ended up transferring 2800 euros to the bank account below:

The worst part is that I know I wont get the money back as I didnt use the sercure payment system on the website but I would have thought that airbnb would at least respond to my many emails and phonecalls about this. I have had no reponse to date and its been over 4 days.
