Teambuy is a mess.

I ordered a novelty item (backscratchers) for $14 (including shipping) on December 10th 2013 with an estimated delivery date of January 17th 2014.

Around February 24th I submitted a complaint through their website and received an email response that was nothing more than a link to a tracking site.

The tracking information indicated the item was not even shipped until February 3rd 2014 and had been delivered to my local post office on Feb 12th with a delivery date of Feb 22nd. This makes very little sense.

It is now February 28th and no item.

I submitted another complaint about this matter AND the poor customer service through their website on Feb 27th. In that complaint I requested a refund as nearly three months is far too long to wait and I considered the item lost.

The response I was given told me there would be no refund because there was a "delivery date" and I would have to wait.

On February 28th I submitted another complaint through their website (I did this through their website because replying to their emails did not elicit a response). I fully expressed my dissatisfaction with the level of customer service I had received.

While not a high volume customer, I spent $270 in 2013 and this company was not only willing to lose me but seemed happy to lose me as a customer over $14.

I disputed the charge with my credit card company and I advise others to do the same.

Another tip: when Teambuy lists itself as the seller of an item it is to cover up the fact the product is coming from a foreign country and is a crap product. The fact Teambuy purposely misleads customers about the origin and identity of the seller is proof they KNOW they are selling crap.

please help spread the word: TEAMBUY's products are crap and their customer service is worse.
