While vacationing in Las Vegas, my friend and I attended a seminar with this company about vacation packages. The sales people are very pushy and through manipulation get you involved in their scheme. After returning home from our trip, we didn't hear from the company until one year later where they sent a letter stating they wanted to activate our account and for us to start using their vacation packages. We did not hear from the company again. After several attempts to contact them, I received a letter from their billing office, Monterey Financial, demanding we pay the past due amount today or the matter will be sent to an attorneys office for further collection. I informed the representative that I needed to speak with my friend and that I would attempt to contact the original company about using their services. I attempted to contact Prestige several times, leaving messages with no return calls. However, the billing office calls me several times daily demanding money. This company is a scam, they never activated my so called account, therefore, I refuse to pay anything for something I never received. The Billing company has reported me to the credit bureau and I want it investigated and removed. I have filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regarding the manner of both companies.
