I met David on Chemistry.com he told me he was Divorced and had a 14 year old daughter. His wife had cheated on him with his best friend, they divorced ad she later died in a car accident with their son. David had a conference to go to in Los Angeles and then we were going to meet. He called and said he received a job offer and needed to go sign the contract. Up to this point I communicated with David via phones that I could not call him back on - only he could call me. We emailed I a few times, primarily we communicated by IM. David said he was French Canadian and preferred IM and email as his accent was so thick. I did a property search and did find a David Wills in Aurora CO and believed him to be "real". David then contacted me from Ghana stating he was now staying to complete a $14 million dollar hotel build - he would give me $1 million dollars. Unfortunately David did not bring cash, only a credit card and asked me to send him money and I said no as Western Union was not allowing money to be sent to Ghana. He told me to tell them he was my husband. He said he needed a laptop - his was now not working and this was imperative for the job to be completed. He also said he was going to miss sharing his birthday with me - and it was Melissa's birthday too. Would I please send him some items? I bought some items and mailed them to him in Ghana - to the specific address he gave me. They did not arrive and after a trace was put on them, they were lost. David continued to ask me for money, to pay his hotel bill, that he and Melissa were hungry and ill. David is now home and refuses to pay me - he states I am scamming him - however - I have every single conversation with him documented. He promised to pay me back and has not as he states he never received the items I sent. I sent him a scan of the label and the tracking information so he knows it was sent - to where he told me to send it to. He called and wanted to know if I had reported him to a Scam Site which I had not at that time, but clearly he has done this to other women.
