We applied for a loan from this company but unknown to us they are only brokers. they then took £69.95 from our bank account without our authorisation.After phoning them we were told a refund of the full amount would be given by the 7th of february 2014, this did not materialise, so another phone call on the 14th of February 2014, they informed us that it took 30 working days and the refund would be in our account on the 6th of March 2014. WELL IT DID NOT HAPPEN. Another phone call today the 7th of March, only to be told that "they had a back log and it would be passed over to a manager to deal with".I informed the woman /girl that i dealt with that this was no good to me as i required the funds now. I was told that "it was good to me as it was being dealt with". I thought this was a bit cheeky so i told her this, only to be told " i'm not a child and i was being rude" she then hung up the phone. I called back a number of times using the different options for Merrywood Loans , the same person answered and hung up when i asked to speak to a manager.
I eventually got through by pressing the option for Orchard loans which is the same telephone number. The woman/girl knew what had been said but had a better attitude. although i still was told that you "CANNOT SPEAK TO A MANAGER AS THEY DO NOT TAKE PHONE CALLS" she assured me that it would be dealt with.
