I am victim of the slimming products scam in UK. On 1st March 2014, I ordered a free trial of Raspberry Katone on trynutriberry.com without realising it is an ongoing trial. When I received an email it was from [email protected] which has no name or contact details of either companies or any terms and conditions. When I received the package on the 8th March 2014, there was no invoice with any contact details of the name, phone numbers, emails or any terms and conditions info when free trial expires, but just return address PO Box 13511, Linlithgow, West Lothian EH49 7YH. On the 14th March 2014, £93 was withdrawn from my bank account. I called the bank on the 18th March 2014 but they said it was my fault to set up the trial and refused to charge back. I forgot about trynutriberry.com and contact buy oceans bounty on their US phone numbers 800 287 9221 and emailed them and left messages but they never got back to me. Address Deep Sea Essentials 7300 S. Alton Way #5B Centennial, CO 80112. On the 19th March, I went to my Nat West Bank but they refused to treat it as a fraud and gave me the British phone number of Nutriberry. I called them but they refused to give me the money back saying i did not cancel before the end of the free trial date. The problem is I did not receive any info or date when the free trial expires either on the email or package sent from them. i have contacted Citizen Advice Bureau and was advised to send them a letter quoting Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. I am still waiting for their reply.
