I received a letter stating that I had qualified for 2 round-trip airline tickets and 2 nights stay at Marriott property worth up to $1398. I called the number on the letter, talked to Joy (agent #122), and was told that in order to receive the vouchers, my husband and I would have to attend a seminar put on by Grand Travel Worldwide. After attending the 90-minute seminar ,we waited another 30 minutes to talk with a sales rep from the company. After learning that we were definitely not going to pay the $9000 lifetime membership(you had to pay that day to get lifetime) and the $300/year fees, our rep became angry and left our table. Eventually, we were given our "vouchers". What a scam! We discovered that in order to receive the vouchers, we would have to send a $100 refundable deposit to another company, Millennium Travel along with a travel request form. Here's how it works: You must first send in a travel request form and deposit money with your 3 destination choices. "Upon validation", Millennium will then send you a Reservation Request Form. You must then choose 3 different dates for travel, each at least 45 days apart, AND the arrivals all have to be on a Monday or Tuesday AND the dates cannot fall within 7 days of any major holiday. Additionally, Millennium must receive this reservation request form at least 90 days before the earliest chosen date. By the way, your deposit is forfeited if you skip on a confirmed reservation, and it appears the vouchers cannot be given away in the event you are unable to use them since the fine print says "Name changes are not permitted for any reason". My advice - if you get one of these offers, don't take the bait.
