I had problems with AVG. (I paid 33 dollars for a year for)I searched for a customer support phone number for AVG. I was fwd to Sunrise PC Support.

They had me install Anti Malware software. It said their was 54 problems wrong with my account. They convinced me to enable them to have remote access to my PC.

They had control of my PC for over 5 hours. Then after they were done. I ran the Anti Malware again. The same problems as existed before.

Then I was told I owe 299 dollars to them. They did NOT tell me this before hand. They also said I had 24 hours to call them back or they would contact local law enforcement. They would have them come to my House. A pretty much threatening phone call to pay them or get arrested.

I researched this company. That's how I found this site. This took place just in the past few days. on 3/25/2014/ I got the threatening voice mail from them.

1. They never told me they would charge me 300 dollars.

2. They never fixed the problems they said they did. With over 5 hours of remote access to my PC.

3. Threatening Voice mail which is illegal in the United States. It amounts to extortion and blackmail. Strong arm tactics to get monies are illegal.
