On march 30 I sent back my signed contract for a loan of $5000. I was to pay my 3 months prepayment off 555 through western union to a Thomas Hayes located in Toronto. After sending that , I received another email from Mary Hopkins, stating the lender was requesting insurance on the loan in the amount of $400. She stated that I was to be reimbursed for that amount as well. Making my loan a total of 5400. I asked if there was any other reason the insurance would be declined. She stated no, and went so far as to send me a letter of guarantee that once those funds were received, there was nothing else they could ask of me. I borrowed that money from a friend and went to western union again and sent the money to Thomas Hayes. I spoke to Mary that night, she advised everything was in order and she was releasing the money to my account. 2 hrs passed, that money still was not in my account. Called Mary Hopkins again and spoke to her last night. (April 3). She stated she could see the confirmation number that everything had gone through on their end and my bank would show it this morning. The money was not in my account by end of day. Called again and spoke to a robin. Robin then informed me that the insurance was refused and I had to put up a majority of the money. She said I needed to pay another 400. That Mary had no authority to send a letter of guarantee. When I said my letter was signed by a Jordan guit, she asked if that was the accounting manager or the CEO. I knew right then I had been scammed. I have asked for my money to be refunded. I have no hopes of that actually happening.
