Recently I applied for a small loan online. I made 2 or 3 such applications and on at least 1 occasion stupidly supplied my debit card details. Because of this a total of 409.41 has, without my knowledge or consent, been removed from my bank account. Those involved include 5 loan brokers. One of the amounts taken (120.00) was refunded by my bank, and of those remaining 3 have agreed to repay the money taken. The fifth, however, CreditMaize (who took 69.72) cannot apparently be contacted either by phone or email. 69.72 may not seem like a large amount of money, but for me it is a serious loss, as no doubt it would be for many people.
