I had weight loss surgery due to a very life treating heart condition which was extremely successful for the first 2 years. Over the last 1 year I have gained back 35% of my weight. My doctor says there is a problem with the band and it needs to be replaced. I have sent emails and talked to nurses who are not helpful to the current situation.
Sure they are knowledgeable to post op care and staying on track but not being helpful to the fact that my band should have a minimum of 6cc in it now it is at .5 and they are blaming this on
a) the doctor took more out then he was supposed to (which isn't true he has always showed me the amounts he was placing in the band and taking out of the band)
b) the doctor causing a leak to the band due to poking the tubing and not the port

I have noticed a decrease in my restriction over the past year. One year ago I had my port fixed do to it flipping since this time I have had a total weight gain of 40 pounds. As of last week I have had NO restriction what so ever which was the reason for the aspiration I had on wednesday April 9th 2014. I have been reaching out to them since January and they respond with "send a food log" I did this. They came back with "sending me pictures of your food" Give me a break.... This procedure was promoted to me with let it help you control craving, portion size and promote over all self control in relation to eating.
It works clearly I was 290 pounds and went down to 167 in 2 years following the same things I am doing now however I went from 167 to 210. Something says there has been a growing problem and now I have NO restriction and as I was pre-band always tempted to eat more then I know I should healthy food or not.

I want this problem fixed not in 6 months so I can continue gaining and gaining. I want it fixed ASAP and not on my cost..
