I'm filing a complaint about South East Credit Union, who financed me a loan for the college Network which is a publishing company not a school. South East originally financed me a little over $6,000 to start my on line nursing degree through the college network. I was told that I could pay 267.00 a month. Unfortunately I came into a financial hardship into which I had to stop my payments of 267.00. Let me also inform you that I never ever accessed the college network, I signed up for the class they said I had to take but I never did the course. I thought I could stop the payments without any re-precaution, I was never informed by the college network the I would bot be able to get out of South East Financial Credit union loan. College network told me that it was my fault that I had to stop the payments and its nothing they could do about it. $ years later I have been sued by college network and south east credit union for double my loan mount which 13,000 for something that I never took, and my wages are being garnished 25%t this time. I'm a single mother that got into a predatory loan, and these people know that I never took or used the course. There are so many complaints against The College Network, and to top it off the California Registered Nursing Board DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THEM AS AN ACCREDIT SCHOOL. which MEANS IF i WOULD HAVE TAKEN THE COURSE i WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GET MY RN LICENSE. Please help me if you can.I don't understand how they double the loan, and how can the garnish my checks for something that I never took, and this school is hurting a lot of other people like me.
